Heavy Duty Mechanic

$40–$50/hour | Full-Time | 3-Month Contract with Potential Extension

Small, family-owned trucking company looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team for an initial 3-month full-time position, with the possibility of extending for the right person.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service, and repair heavy trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Maintain equipment in a safe and reliable condition
- Complete repair and maintenance records

Requirements

- Heavy Duty Mechanic certification preferred
- Experience working on heavy trucks and trailers
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently




- Own tools
- Valid driver's licence

Bonus: Class 1 or Class 3 licence and trucking industry experience.
