We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Licensed Journeyman Electrician – 309A to join our team, working on projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This role involves working on a variety of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Rough-in, wiring, finishing for new construction and renovations
- Install overhead and underground electrical service
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Code (OEC) and Ontario Building Code (OBC)
- Read and interpret electrical code specifications, drawings, and line diagrams
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and components to ensure proper functionality and safety
- Able to work with and supervise electrical apprentice
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work environment
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Provide daily progress reports
Qualifications
- 309A Licensed Electrician
- Completion of a 9,000-hour electrical apprenticeship program
- 5–10 years of experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical diagrams, and schematics
- Strong knowledge of OESC 2024 and OESC/ESA Bulletins
- Must have personal tools and reliable transportation
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Working at Heights Certification
- Have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
