Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in caregiving and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Duties

- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients’ health conditions.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage with clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel.




- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or hospice care is preferred.
- Familiarity with senior care practices, dementia care, and working with people with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong caregiving skills, including patient care, cleaning, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients.
