Position Overview

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Host/Hostess / Busser to join our Italian restaurant team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for guests while supporting the front-of-house team and keeping the dining area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage seating arrangements and assist with reservations and waitlists.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when needed.
- Answer guest questions about the menu and restaurant.
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
- Assist servers with running food, water, and other guest requests.
- Keep the dining room, entrance, and service areas clean and organized.
- Assist with polishing glassware, silverware, and maintaining table settings.
- Support servers and management during busy service periods.
- Follow all restaurant health, safety, and cleanliness standards.




- Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/carry items as required.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.60 per hour
