Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest flow will contribute to a positive dining experience.

This position is suitable for someone over 19 as you will be serving liquor also need daytime and some night time availability during the week and you must be available for both Saturday and Sunday shifts

Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the Waitlist
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about menu items and specials.
- Monitor the dining area for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly.




- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences.
- Seat guests and get drink orders
- Communicate with guests throughout service
- Clearing tables and resetting for Next guest

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help guests enhance their dining experience.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and must have weekend availability
