We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and hands-on Hotel Maintenance / Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general repairs, and building maintenance and be comfortable handling day-to-day maintenance issues in a hotel workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, heating, and general building systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests from the front desk and hotel management in a timely manner.
- Repair and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, equipment, and building fixtures.
- Perform basic carpentry, drywall, painting, fixture, and general handyman work.
- Monitor and maintain hotel mechanical equipment and systems.
- Complete daily pool water testing and readings and maintain proper pool records.
- Identify potential maintenance issues and address them before they become major problems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and hotel standards.
- Work cooperatively with hotel management and other departments.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Previous hotel maintenance, building maintenance, handyman, or similar experience is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a must.
- Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment is highly preferred.




- Valid Pool Operator / Pool Certification (“Pool Ticket”) is required to perform daily pool water testing and readings.
- Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs independently.
- Good understanding of general building maintenance and mechanical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Availability This position requires open availability. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work:

- Weekdays and weekends
- Statutory holidays
- Different shifts when required
- Occasional emergency or after-hours maintenance situations

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and experienced, with the ability to look at a maintenance problem and figure out the best way to resolve it. Hotel experience is an asset, but strong experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building maintenance will also be considered.
