Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Houseperson/Laundry to support our housekeeping operations. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of guest areas and assist with laundry services, contributing to a welcoming and pristine environment for all visitors. Your proactive approach and dedication will help uphold our high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and guest corridors by performing sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, folding, and delivering linens and towels efficiently
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public spaces to ensure availability of essentials
- Support housekeeping staff by transporting cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
- Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards by conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning and laundry tasks to maintain a secure environment
- Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping or laundry needs with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially within hotel or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout shifts
