Our client in Kitchener is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team in a full-time permanent role! Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

CHRP designation or working toward a CHRP designation is considered an asset. Approximately 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or similarly fast-paced environment.

Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations. Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices.

Experience with employee relations, investigations, progressive discipline, attendance management, recruitment, and performance management.

Experience with HRIS, payroll, and time-and-attendance systems; Dayforce experience is an asset.

Solid Microsoft

Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on HR policies etc.



Support employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, coaching, progressive discipline, conflict resolution, and performance management.

Manage or support full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions. Support payroll administration by ensuring accuracy of information such as time and attendance information, vacation, leaves, and other payroll-related documents Support disability management, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work programs in collaboration with all stakeholders. Support training and development initiatives.

Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment legislation, including the ESA, Ontario Human Rights Code, OHSA, WSIA and other applicable requirements.
