About The Role The company is actively seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead and shape its people strategy during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This is a highly visible and strategic leadership role designed for an accomplished HR executive capable of balancing strategic vision with operational effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in strengthening the HR function, developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the company’s goals, and cultivating a high-performing HR team.

Key responsibilities include workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and fostering a positive organizational culture. The role requires a leader who can serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, deeply understand the business, and provide practical, data-driven solutions that support sound decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, with a CPHR designation or a graduate degree considered advantageous.

Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or similar operational environments is highly desirable, along with strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. The role also involves leading organizational change initiatives,



implementing HR technology solutions, and leveraging people analytics to drive business outcomes. A genuine appreciation for entrepreneurial cultures and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential qualities for success in this position.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or graduate qualification is preferred. A professional certification such as CPHR (Certified Professional in Human Resources) or equivalent is highly valued.

Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of leading HR functions within operationally intensive environments, with significant experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction sectors. Strong strategic thinking, organizational change management, and talent development skills are essential. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the organization.

Experience with HR technology implementation, people analytics, and data-driven decision-making will be considered advantageous. A demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace is also required.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and growth plans.

- Lead organizational change efforts, including restructuring, process improvements, and technology adoption.
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance measures to ensure legal and ethical standards are maintained.
- Leverage HR analytics and people data to inform strategic decision-making and measure HR program effectiveness.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide trusted counsel on human capital matters and workforce issues.
