Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This position offers an exciting prospect to work on a variety of equipment including oil, gas, propane systems, boilers, air distribution units, heat pumps/AC units. Duties

- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across residential and commercial settings.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and drainage.
- Service boilers and other heating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings for system installation or repair.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes.




- Assist with appliance repairs related to HVAC systems or associated equipment.

Skills

- Valid G3 or OBT3 License required.
- 313D apprenticeship available for the right candidate.
- G2/OBT2/313D license is an asset.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system components.
- Proficiency in plumbing, brazing, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Construction experience is a plus for system installation projects.
- Mechanical or mechanic experience that supports troubleshooting complex systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC principles including air distribution and refrigeration systems.
- Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues within HVAC units.
- Compensation is based on work experience and trade licenses.
