With growing enrolment for the 2026–2027 academic year, Tutor Prime is looking for dedicated tutors to support K–12 students through personalized, one-to-one, primarily in-home tutoring.

About the Role

Tutors work one-to-one with students based on their subject expertise, preferred locations and availability.

We are currently hiring tutors for:

- English Language Arts
- Mathematics
- Science
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Social Studies
- Elementary and Junior High general academic support
- High School 10, 20 and 30-level courses
- AP and advanced subjects
- ESL/EAL
- Homework, study skills and exam preparation

Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one in-home tutoring to students in your area
- Support K–12 students in your qualified subjects
- Assist with coursework, homework, assignments, quizzes and exam preparation
- Explain concepts clearly and adapt tutoring to individual student needs




- Help students develop stronger academic skills, study habits and confidence
- Maintain a consistent and reliable weekly schedule
- Complete required tutoring session reports
- Communicate professionally with students, parents and Tutor Prime

Qualifications

- Expertise in one or more K–12 academic subjects
- Familiarity with the Alberta curriculum is preferred
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset
- Solid communication and time-management skills
- Friendly, reliable and professional
- Reliable transportation to and from accepted in-home assignments
- Current criminal background check required
- Ability to maintain a consistent tutoring commitment during the school year
