Role Description The Immigration Case Worker is a full-time, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. This role involves managing a caseload of immigration files, gathering client information, preparing documentation, and supporting licensed immigration professionals with applications and submissions.

The Immigration Case

Worker communicates regularly with clients to explain processes, provide updates, and ensure required documents are obtained accurately and on time. Daily responsibilities include maintaining detailed case records, coordinating appointments, tracking deadlines, and following up with government agencies or partner organizations as needed.



The role also requires monitoring changes in immigration policies, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality client service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to support clients with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Candidates should possess Case Management and Casework skills to organize files, track progress, and ensure timely completion of immigration processes.
- Candidates should possess Social Work-related skills to understand client circumstances, provide appropriate guidance, and connect clients with relevant resources.
- Post-secondary education in social work, immigration studies, law, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in immigration services, legal assistance, or community support roles is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setting, with the ability to collaborate in-office in Toronto, ON and work independently from home.
- Proficiency with case management software, document management tools, and standard office applications.
