In‑House Legal Counsel II, Accident Benefits You’ll be part of Canada’s largest in‑house P&C; insurance litigation team, focusing on accident benefits, loss transfer and priority dispute files while embracing a flexible, hybrid work model.

Salary range (based on a 35‑hour workweek): 128,300 – 156,800 CAD Annual bonus target: Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) with Intact matching 50% of net shares Defined‑benefit pension plan providing guaranteed income for life Additional benefits: telemedicine, wellness account, flexible work arrangements, hybrid mode, possibility to purchase up to 5 extra days off per year, share plan & savings options up to 12% of salary or more Manage a busy practice with autonomy while collaborating with a high‑performing team of lawyers, adjusters, and legal support professionals. Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Minimum 5+ years of insurance litigation experience.

Experience attending private arbitrations (asset).





Experience handling catastrophic accident benefit claims (asset). Proficiency in technologies, tools and software programs to optimize operational efficiency and decision making, including AI tools, iManage, ACL and Microsoft Office suite.
