Responsibilities

- Work within the design team to develop and refine new and existing products
- Evaluate how users interact with products and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively through sketches, prototypes, and presentations
- Analyze user data and feedback to make informed design decisions.
- Help establish new product briefs, including concept, performance, and production criteria
- Work with other departments to discuss and negotiate appropriate production processes, costs, and commercial issues
- Identify the suitability and availability of materials
- Participate and support efforts in creating accurate Bills of Materials, installation instructions, and other support documents
- Create and modify part and assembly CAD models
- Document new processes and procedures
- Adhere to established processes and procedures, and recent processes and procedures as they are implemented
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Education & Experience

- Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (required)
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience (required)
- Experience in the firearms industry is a strong asset

Skills & Technical Proficiency

- Advanced SolidWorks proficiency
- Surface modeling skills




- KeyShot rendering software experience
- Strong sketching and visual communication abilities
- Skilled in interpreting and synthesizing user research
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and data analysis
- Solid understanding of materials, machining, CNC practices, and design for manufacturing

Soft Skills

- Self-motivated with a passion for product design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
- Comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams

Additional Requirements

- A portfolio demonstrating your design skills and process is required
- A successful candidate must obtain a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL)after hiring

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
