About The Role

We are looking for an experienced IT &

- Business Systems Manager to help the organization get greater value from its technology, business systems, data, and external technology partners.

This role will work across the organization to improve business systems, reporting, security, vendor performance, and the overall employee technology experience. The position will also help identify and apply AI and emerging technologies to create value internally and externally.

This is an on-site position based in Markham, Ontario, with periodic remote flexibility when business needs allow.

Key Responsibilities

- Help develop and execute technology and business systems priorities.
- Lead business improvement initiatives involving ERP, CRM, reporting, analytics, and data quality.
- Translate business needs into clear technology requirements, options, and practical recommendations.
- Partner with internal departments to improve processes, system adoption, productivity, and decision-making.
- Manage and oversee external IT, software, telecommunications, and cybersecurity providers.
- Monitor vendor service levels, priorities, performance, contracts, and costs.
- Support information security, access controls, business continuity, and technology risk management.




- Ensure employees have reliable, secure technology tools for office, field, and remote work.
- Manage technology budgets, software licensing, renewals, roadmaps, and technology-related priorities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to implement AI and automation across business functions.
- Support continuous improvement of systems, processes, and technology infrastructure as organizational needs evolve.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT, business systems, or technology leadership.
- At least 3 years of accountability for an ERP platform within a distribution, wholesale, supply-chain, or related environment.
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Epicor Prophet 21 or a comparable distribution ERP is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to connect technology decisions to customer service, revenue, margins, operational efficiency, and risk.
- Experience managing outsourced technology providers, software vendors, and technology partners.
- Practical experience using, evaluating, or implementing AI tools and solutions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, reporting and analytics,



information security, and access controls.
- Strong understanding of business systems and technology-enabled process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Practical, curious, accountable, and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Compensation &

- Benefits

- Total Compensation: $75,000 – $115,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance.
- Eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Location Markham, Ontario, Canada This is primarily an on-site position, with occasional remote flexibility when business requirements permit.
