Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Prepare
BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications
.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Create process diagrams, workflows, wireframes, and other supporting documentation.
- Define acceptance criteria and support backlog/user-story refinement.
- Assist QA teams in developing test scenarios and validating business requirements.
- Participate in
UAT and coordinate issue resolution.
- Track requirements, changes, dependencies, and project risks.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and business insights when required.
- Support implementation, training, and post-production activities.
Required Skills
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good understanding of
SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
.
- Experience with requirement gathering and documentation.
- Ability to create
BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows
.
- Knowledge of tools such as
Jira, Confluence, MS Visio/Lucidchart, and Microsoft Office
.
- Good understanding of
SQL and databases
.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with
Power BI/Tableau and data analysis.
- Knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and basic technical architecture.
- Experience in a specific domain such as
Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Retail, E-commerce, or SaaS
.
- Relevant certifications such as
CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA
.
