Company Description Custom Energized Air (CEA) is a comprehensive provider of compressed air technology, distribution, and usage solutions for customers across Western Canada. Since 1999, CEA has delivered premium products from world-class manufacturers, along with strong technical support to help clients overcome operational challenges and reduce downtime. The company’s Edmonton facility designs and builds engineered systems and valve automation solutions in collaboration with end users and consulting engineers.

Role Description The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role at Custom Energized Air (CEA), serving as a primary point of contact for customers while overseeing the execution of sales processes.

An Inside Sales

Representative is responsible for ensuring proper, appropriate, and timely execution of customer quotes. As a member of the Inside Sales Team, this role may be required to execute or support any tasks related to inside sales from quote to delivery; through appropriate planning, sales management, and expediting either personally or by supporting colleagues.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

Sales & Customer Support:

- Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries, providing accurate and knowledgeable product information.
- Collaborate with outside sales to seek possible customer and sales growth opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from RFQ to delivery, including quoting, order processing, and expediting.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop complete, cost-effective solutions tailored to customer needs.




- Ensure all sales activities comply with the Quality Management System (QMS) and customer requirements.

Technical Support:

- Provide technical quotes, including sizing, calibration, and design specifications.
- Review and interpret technical documents such as P&IDs;, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure all documentation, testing, and compliance requirements are met.

Operational Excellence:

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all sales and order desk activities.
- Support and enforce company policies, procedures, and COR Health & Safety standards.
- Solve complex problems and implement solutions that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all customer inquiries are input into available CRMs for visibility of orders to others.

Communication & Collaboration:

- Collaborate with the outside sales team to ensure effective communication including all incoming customer requests are met with in timely manner and monitored until completion.
- Foster open, respectful communication across departments and with external vendors.
- Accurately convey customer requirements to internal teams and subcontractors.
- Positively influence team morale and contribute to a supportive work environment.
- As applicable work together to ensure effective and efficient completion of work as a company.

Development:

- Achieve and maintain a thorough (and current) understanding of industry standards (legal, technical, quality, safety, etc.) within your field of expertise.
- Regardless of role,



make an effort to understand available product lines and the industry in which CEA conducts business.
- Pursue training opportunities to expand knowledge, including CEA-provided training, Vendor training, and self-guided learning.
- Participate in ‘lessons learned’ meetings, including identifying areas of improvement, developing corrective measures, and communicating outcomes.
- Embrace a Teamwork mindset; collaborate to ensure the development of processes and procedures designed to help CEA grow.

Education & Experience Requirements:

- High School Diploma required. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field with a focus on compressed air systems, pneumatics, or industrial equipment considered an asset.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or customer service within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- A combination of relevant education, technical knowledge, and professional experience will be considered for candidates who demonstrate strong potential and alignment with the role’s requirements.

Working Conditions:

- Physical Requirements – Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Environment: In office
- Hours: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
