The Facility Operator is responsible for the handling, consolidating, and processing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials received by the processing facilities in an effort to recycle their key components. These items could include but are not limited to used oils, antifreeze, aerosols and filters.
The Facility
Operator will also be required to operate a forklift and skid steer loader as needed. The successful candidate must display a focus on safety and efficiency in a team environment while performing moderately labour intensive and repetitive tasks in an outdoor facility setting. This is a permanent full time position.
The regular work schedule is 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers. Complete job hazard risk assessments. Provide superior internal and external customer service.
General shop clean up and maintenance. Forklift, Loader and/or Skid Steer experience is a strong asset. Reliable transportation to get to the facility.
Valid
Class 5 Drivers License is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Planning and organizational skills. Competitive wages. Industry leading health, dental and vision benefits.
