Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installer to join our team. This position is responsible for installing various types of products, primarily glass products, including windows, doors, shower enclosures, glass panels, mirrors, shelving, closets, room dividers and other residential specialty products, at customer sites across Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of glass installation techniques, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering superior craftsmanship.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions using cutting tools and techniques.
- Assemble and install glass products, including windows, doors, shower enclosures, and glass panels, according to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Secure glass in frames using appropriate techniques, such as caulking,



glazing, and sealing.
- Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of installed glass products.
- Inspect installed glass products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members, including project managers and glass fabricators, to ensure successful project completion.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of glass materials.

Qualifications & Background:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Glass Installer or similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or construction environment, is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of glass installation techniques, tools, and materials desired.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and commercially insurable.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects in a production setup.

Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:30 – 4:00 / 40 hours week

Occasionally: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
