Intermediate Process Engineer

We are looking for a full-time Intermediate Process Engineer to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop steady-state simulation models (e.g., HYSYS) to generate Heat & Material Balances (HMB) and evaluate process schemes.
- Calculate sizes and write specifications for standard equipment adhering to API/ASME codes and QMS standards.
- Create and maintain core engineering diagrams, including PFDs, UFDs, PSFDs, and P&IDs.;
- Design process control strategies, logic narratives, cause-and-effect matrices, and pressure relief systems.
- Perform field verifications and facility as-builting (5–10% field work) to preserve Process Safety Information (PSI) and asset integrity.
- Use CAD and data-linked platforms to maintain consistency across equipment lists, specifications, and drawings.
- Lead small-to-medium process packages from concept to completion in a multidisciplinary environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
- Registered with APEGA, or eligible for registration, as a P. Eng.
- 6 or more years of experience in process engineering, ideally in an EPCM environment.
- Proven ability to build long-term, collaborative relationships with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to consistently complete project deliverables (reports, drawings, specs) on time and budget.
- Practical proficiency in process & hydraulic simulations, and standard productivity software (MS Office/operating systems).
- Demonstrable teachability and commitment to lifelong learning; actively seeking feedback and rapidly acquiring current skills, and methodologies to adapt to evolving project requirements.
