Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Janitor / General Labourer to join our manufacturing team. The primary responsibility of this position is maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of our three industrial facilities, including washrooms, lunchrooms, offices and shop areas.

When required, this position will also assist with general labour duties such as picking up and delivering parts, yard clean-up (dump runs), cleaning and packaging equipment, and assisting with basic equipment assembly.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and garbage removal
- Clean and maintain washrooms, lunchrooms, offices and shop areas
- Maintain floors, windows, walls, fixtures and common areas
- Perform general facility’s yard cleanup and organization
- Assist with cleaning and packaging manufactured equipment
- Pick up and deliver parts, materials and supplies as required
- Assist with basic equipment assembly and other general labour duties as needed

Qualifications & Experience





- Previous janitorial, cleaning or general labour experience is an asset but not required
- Dependable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Robust attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Willing to assist with a variety of tasks as required
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record required for occasional parts pickup and deliveries

We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated but able/willing to follow instructions, takes pride in keeping a workplace clean, organized and well maintained, and who is willing to help wherever needed as part of our manufacturing team. Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
