Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Japanese Chef to bring authentic Japanese cuisine to our vibrant dining establishment. Duties

- Prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, and other specialties with precision and artistry
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices at all times




- Serve as a key leader in restaurant management by coordinating with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service

Skills

- Proven supervising experience in a quick-paced restaurant environment specializing in Japanese cuisine
- Extensive food preparation and cooking skills with knowledge of traditional Japanese ingredients and techniques
- Strong food service experience with a focus on high-quality presentation and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated team management and leadership abilities to motivate staff and optimize kitchen performance
- Solid understanding of restaurant management principles including food safety regulations and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure smooth operations
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to hospitality excellence and continuous learning
