Position: Java Developer

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable enterprise applications.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries using SQL Server.
- Create and maintain Unix Shell scripts for automation, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
- Participate in application design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum workplace.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical support.
- Follow established coding standards, development best practices, and enterprise security guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development, deployment, and support processes.
