We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our technology team and work on enterprise-grade backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and MongoDB, along with experience building scalable and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Java 8/11/17.
- Develop backend applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using JSON and OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
- Build and maintain microservices with a focus on scalability, availability, performance, and resiliency.
- Design and manage MongoDB schemas, document models, indexes, queries, and aggregation pipelines.
- Perform MongoDB CRUD operations and optimize queries and database performance.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for transactional and reporting requirements.
- Implement REST-based integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
- Apply effective exception handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, deployments, and production support.




- Support CI/CD pipelines and follow secure coding and enterprise compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

- 9–12 years of professional software development experience, primarily in enterprise backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
- Proven experience developing microservices architectures.
- Robust experience developing REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, including:
- Document/schema modeling
- Indexing strategies
- Aggregation framework
- CRUD operations
- Query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with SQL and query optimization.
- Experience working with OpenShift or AWS.
- Experience integrating backend services with upstream and downstream systems using REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of production-grade software engineering practices.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, and partitioning.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging, and resiliency patterns.
- Experience supporting production applications in large enterprise environments.
