Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated fourth year apprentice or Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, residential, and agricultural settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

This position offers an exciting chance to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovations, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to make a tangible impact.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and control panels in industrial environments.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks with precision.
- Conduct inspections of existing electrical systems during renovation projects to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Diagnose electrical problems using schematics and technical manuals; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records.

Experience

- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial ,residential, and agricultural settings with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.




- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience working with low voltage systems such as security systems or communication wiring.
- Construction experience involving new builds or renovation projects is highly desirable.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment for troubleshooting and installation tasks.
- Additional handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving on-site.
