Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Jr. Project Coordinator to oversee scheduling, coordination, and execution of window and door installations and logistics. This role requires a proactive leader with at least 2 years of experience in construction project coordination, site supervision, or as a foreman in construction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can efficiently delegate tasks, and ensures smooth communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Job Costing & Budgeting

- Cost out installation pricing for window packages sold by the sales team.
- Provide the sales team with accurate budgets and pricing analysis to ensure profitability.
- Track materials and labor costs to maintain budget alignment.

2. Project Scheduling & Coordination

- Oversee and manage installation schedules using Project Management Software.
- Coordinate with clients, lead installers, installation technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on track.
- Adjust project schedules and resource allocation to manage real-time challenges and unforeseen delays.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

3. Client Communication & Satisfaction

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing project updates and managing expectations.
- Address client concerns proactively, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, schedules, and project updates.

Quality Control & On-Site Oversight

- Conduct periodic visits throughout the projects to ensure installations are installed according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
- Sign off on completed installations to confirm they meet company and industry standards.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, providing training as needed.

5. Leadership & Team Management

- Lead and delegate tasks effectively to installers and laborers for smooth workflow.
- Work closely with the Lead Installer to ensure installations meet company quality standards.
- Mentor installation technicians, providing guidance and leadership.
- Ability to work on-site when necessary to increase resources for project completion or to fill in for crew members when they’re unavailable.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration across internal teams, including sales, operations, and procurement.

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain detailed project records, including job progress, costs, and timelines.
- Review and approve timesheets for all project team members to ensure accurate labor tracking.
- Generate and submit regular reports for upper management.

7. Issue Resolution & Problem-Solving





- Quickly identify and resolve project delays, unexpected challenges, and workflow inefficiencies.
- Adapt project schedules and resource allocation to maintain efficiency and quality.

8. Resource & Inventory Management

- Order materials and tools ahead of schedule, maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Track material usage to reduce waste and control costs.
- Negotiate with subcontractors to maintain cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, site supervision, or as a foreman in construction.
- Strong ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage multiple projects at once.
- Residential Construction background strongly recommended.
- Proficiency in job costing, budgeting, and pricing analysis.
- Proficiency with Project Management Software.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing schedules and resources.
- Ability to negotiate with subcontractors and manage inventory efficiently.
- Comfortable using a laptop or tablet for real-time on-site documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
- Clean driver’s abstract.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
