We're seeking a energetic, and quick-learning Junior Barista to join our team at our 1109 Cyrville Rd location. If you love coffee, thrive in a fast-paced workplace, and enjoy engaging with people, you might be the perfect fit!
What You'll Do:
- Craft & Serve: Skillfully prepare coffee beverages and simple, made-to-order sandwiches.
- Engage Guests: Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and ensure every guest walks away with a positive experience.
- Collaborate & Solve: Work both independently and as part of a team, using robust communication and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain Quality: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism throughout your shift.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Barista experience. Comfortable working independently, enjoys problem-solving, and has experience in a commercial kitchen. MUST have both weekend and weekday availability.
- Commitment: Willingness to commit to at least 20 hours per week.
- Guest Focus: Understands the importance of exceptional guest experiences.
- Product Knowledge:
Possesses great knowledge of coffee and is experienced in coffee beverage preparation; familiarity with craft beer and natural wine is a plus
- Additional Assets:
- Previous Key Holder experience is an asset.
- Holds Smart Serve certification (required) and a Food Handlers Certificate is a plus.
- Team Player: Actively communicates and collaborates with others to maintain a smooth operation.
