Duties

- Assist in meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service and high-quality dishes
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen area
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and portioning as needed
- Ensure proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage and cross-contamination
- Maintain organized workstations and assist with dishwashing and sanitation duties




- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues during busy hours

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
