Our company is looking for a talented Kumon Assistant to help with a wide range of tasks. You will be responsible for supporting business operations in all departments. As a Kumon Assistant, you should have a love for working with children. Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching and working with children
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, and parents as and when required
- Have strong English reading and writing skills, grasp of grammar concepts
- Have strong math and critical thinking skills (an assessment might be required)
- Have robust organizational skills,
and be able to work independently under tight timelines
- Have a positive attitude, and be a quick learner who can follow directions well· Customer service experience is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Grade student worksheets using correct answer books and enter grades into record book·
- Assess oral reading skills when necessary
- Update instructor about student progress, and provide feedback from observations
- Preparation of student folders, and maintain inventory
- Assist in the organization and preparation of the classroom setup
- Other duties, as assigned
Job Types: Casual, Part-time Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
