What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual with a positive attitude, robust work ethic and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and is committed to working sagely and supporting the team. Prior production and manufacturing experience is an asset.

Vacant full time position within our organization

Monday to Friday 5:30 am – 2:00 pm

$20.00 - 24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform general shop maintenance and housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors, emptying trash bins and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Clean and prepare units and equipment for shipping
- Assist with material handling activities including, lifting, moving, staging and organizing materials using appropriate equipment and sage work practices
- Provide assistance to shipping department when needed.
- Load and unload pallets from trucks.
- Record and restock leftover parts after job completion.
- Assist with backorders inventory parts handling.
- Assist paint department; prep, prime paint and sandblast products using appropriate equipment.
- Assist production and assembly teams with general labor tasks as required
- Build, assemble and prepare wooden crates and packaging for products and materials
- Measure and cut steel pipe and tube to specifications.
- Run business errands on occasion.
- Comply with all safety procedures, policies and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Handle materials products, equipment and chemicals safely and according to established procedures.
- Interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, customers, suppliers and stakeholders as required.
- Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
- Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.




- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Education

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.
- One-year related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a shipping and/or receiving department and picking parts preferred.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to handle routine projects and tasks under close supervision.
- Ability to handle non-routine, standard projects and tasks.

Physical and Technical Environment

- Must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques or other available resources such as lifting or moving equipment or help from another employee.
- Required to wear impact goggles, face shield and hearing protection when using handheld grinders.
- Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs.
- Regularly required to walk or stand, bend or twist, climb, reach with hands or arms.
- Clean and orderly manufacturing environment, some exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards.
- Overtime required at periodic intervals to respond to project deadlines.
- Exposure to noise, dust, heat and cold on a regular basis.
- Exposure to machine and tool hazards requiring care and attention to safety rules and standards. Occasional exposure to fiberglass.
