The team at Birk’s is looking for a seasoned and enthusiastic Landscape Designer & Sales Representative who is creative, customer-focused and success-driven to join our team.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Landscape Designer & Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating landscape designs for clients, presenting these designs to clients, and driving sales of our landscaping services and products all while building relationships and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape design and architecture, and a strong understanding of horticulture, design principles, and landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to promote landscaping services.
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide tailored designs.
- Prepare and present proposals, including design concepts and service offerings.
- In office,



communicate with the landscape crew to ensure landscape designs are accurately executed.
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and best practices to effectively communicate with clients.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and community activities to promote the company’s services.

Requirements

- Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the landscaping, design, or architectural industry.
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant types, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license is required; willingness to travel for client meetings is essential.
- A degree in landscape design, architecture, sales and marketing or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
