PROJECT & QUALITY COORDINATOR

6-Month Contract (with Possibility of Extension)

Location: Fibrotek Advanced Materials, Clermont, Quebec

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Position

Fibrotek Advanced Materials is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project & Quality Coordinator to support project execution within our automotive and aerospace manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating activities between customers and internal teams to ensure project milestones, quality requirements, and delivery commitments are achieved. This position will ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and implemented on the production floor while supporting scheduling, inventory, packaging, shipping, and quality-related activities.

This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working across multiple departments and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

- Track project progress, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate activities between Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Shipping teams.
- Organize and facilitate project review meetings.
- Maintain project action plans and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Communicate project changes and priorities to all affected departments.
- Identify risks that may impact timing, quality, or delivery and support corrective actions.
- Prepare project status updates and reports for management.

Quality Coordination & Production Support

- Ensure project-specific and customer quality requirements are understood and followed on the production floor.
- Verify that work instructions, control plans, specifications, and project requirements are properly implemented.
- Act as a liaison between Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues affecting project execution.




- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and AS9100 quality system activities.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist with APQP activities and PPAP submissions as required.

Planning, Inventory & Logistics

- Monitor material and inventory requirements to support project schedules.
- Coordinate planning activities with manufacturing teams.
- Ensure customer packaging requirements are communicated and implemented.
- Coordinate shipping activities and delivery schedules.
- Communicate schedule changes or delivery concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, quality coordination, or a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing.
- Familiarity with APQP and PPAP processes.
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and/or AS9100 standards.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and project activities.

- Bilingual English and French is strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with English-speaking customers and French-speaking production teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
