I’m Zachary Soccio-Marandola, a Toronto residential real estate lawyer . My practice is built on high-value representation, practical education, and clear, straightforward communication.

We’re building a fully remote law practice powered by modern tools and strong processes.

Our mission is to assemble a team of real estate law experts, supported by systems and workflows designed to deliver high-quality legal work from anywhere.

Who This Role Is For

This is a positive fit for a clerk who:

- Has residential conveyancing experience in Ontario and can run a file start to finish
- Is highly computer proficient, comfortable learning new software and legal technology, and confident working across multiple digital platforms and systems
- Communicates clearly and calmly with clients, agents, lenders, and other firms
- Is adaptable, values clean and well-structured processes, and is comfortable working within established systems while helping refine them over time
- Works well with autonomy and takes ownership of their work, while staying collaborative and connected with the team in a remote environment
- Wants to help shape a growing firm
- Is looking for a full-time role as part of a team, not a freelance or file-by-file arrangement

What the Work Looks Like

You’ll work on

- Managing residential purchases, sales, refinances,



and title transfers from opening to reporting
- Preparing title searches, off-title searches, preparing requisitions, and helping resolve title issues
- Preparing closing documents, statements of adjustments, and trust ledgers
- Ordering title insurance
- Working through lender instructions and portals, for both bank and private lenders?
- Managing closing-day funds, documents, and follow-ups
- Registrations in Teraview and post-closing reporting
- Helping refine the templates, checklists, and workflows we use every day
- Working directly with me, our senior law clerk and associate lawyer to keep files moving

All work is performed under the supervision of a licensed lawyer.

Compensation

- Base salary: $60,000 to $70,000, based on skillset and experience
- Health and dental coverage
- Fully remote, with all software and equipment provided
