A leading business law firm is seeking to recruit a lawyer to join its Securities group in Montreal, specifically within its Investment Funds and Asset Management practice. The firm advises asset managers, financial institutions, investment funds and key market players on complex, often cross-border mandates. As a Securities Lawyer, you will work on investment funds and asset management mandates.

You will be involved in the structuring, formation and operation of various investment vehicles, with direct exposure to regulatory, transactional and strategic issues. Draft and review fund agreements and investment-related documentation Participate in the structuring and formation of private equity and other investment funds Advise asset managers,



financial institutions and investors on legal, regulatory and compliance matters Work on complex investment structures 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in investment funds and asset management ~ Experience gained in private practice ~ Excellent academic record ~ Solid legal drafting and communication skills ~ Bilingual (French/English) Exposure to sophisticated mandates in investment funds and financial markets International and institutional client base Leading national and international platform
