We are looking for stellar leasing specialists across the province to represent the Rent Panda brand and rent out properties for our clientele in the region. At the moment, we need a robust team member for our Sarnia operation, to help find and place quality tenants. This specific role is heavily focused on a large multifamily portfolio and requires an individual who is willing to think outside of the box when it comes to tenant placement. The typical tasks associated with the job are:
- Initial walkthrough of a unit
- Market rent assessments on a weekly basis to determine portfolio competitiveness
- Photography and videography (to be taught - smartphone only) with AI editing and staging
- Posting the property across a number of platforms (we use a syndication tool to make this easier)
- Managing inquiries from interested applicants and pre-screening them prior to showings
- Conducting showings in person - evenings and weekends necessary
- Processing applications and calling references
- Compiling a short list of top applicants and presenting to management (or the landlord in some cases)
- Building a lease and lease appendix for the rental




- Conducting move in inspections and key handoff
- Handing off the tenant to the PM team (or landlord) and communicating openly to ensure payment is made

The leasing specialist will be following Rent Panda procedures that have been honed over thousands of leasing jobs, but must be skilled at thinking on their feet, problem solving and professional communication. Applicants must have their own car to get to properties efficiently and computer for use to post properties, manage inquiries and liaise with the team. Digital savviness is a bonus. This role will be overseen by the executive team and training will be provided throughout the job. Multifamily leasing experience is an asset and general leasing experience will be heavily favoured.

This role is entrepreneurial in nature and compensation will be provided in the form of commission on every job. All marketing and advertising costs will be covered by Rent Panda, as well as screening costs.

The job is not a traditional workday, as inquiries and showings often happen in the evening and on weekends. This role is right for someone who wants to have flexibility on their hours and be entrepreneurial in their role (very similar to a real estate agent).

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
