About CanFix Repair

CanFix Repair is a commercial collision repair facility in Burlington specializing in collision, structural and body repairs for commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and fleet vehicles.

We are seeking an experienced Licensed 310B Auto Body & Collision Damage Repairer to join our team.

A valid Ontario 310B licence is required for this position.

This is a senior hands-on technician role for someone who is confident completing collision repairs from disassembly through structural and body repair to final reassembly. The ideal candidate has strong structural and frame repair experience, excellent metalworking skills and takes pride in producing safe, accurate and high-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform complete collision and body repairs to a high standard of workmanship
- Diagnose and repair structural and collision damage
- Perform frame and structural repairs using frame straightening, pulling, anchoring and measuring equipment
- Repair, straighten and replace damaged body panels and structural components
- Remove and install welded, bonded, bolted and sectioned components
- Perform MIG welding and other approved collision repair welding procedures
- Complete dent repair, metal finishing and body filler work
- Perform complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly
- Identify additional or hidden collision damage during tear-down
- Remove and reinstall interior, exterior, mechanical, electrical and accessory components as required
- Ensure proper panel fitment, body lines and gap alignment
- Read and follow repair estimates, work orders and manufacturer/OEM repair procedures
- Verify structural measurements and repair quality throughout the repair process
- Work closely with estimators, painters and other technicians to maintain efficient production flow
- Inspect completed work for safety, fit, finish and overall repair quality
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organized condition
- Follow all shop safety procedures and applicable repair standards
- Take ownership of assigned repairs from tear-down through completion

Required Qualifications Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Valid Ontario 310B Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer licence
- Minimum 4 years of professional collision repair experience
- Strong structural and frame repair experience
- Demonstrated experience operating frame straightening and pulling equipment
- Strong welding and metal repair skills
- Experience with complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly
- Experience repairing and replacing welded and sectioned components
- Knowledge of modern collision repair methods,



materials and structural repair procedures
- Ability to read and follow OEM repair procedures
- Solid understanding of panel fitment, measurements and gap alignment
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Own technician tools/toolbox
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a production-focused team
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:

- Red Seal certification
- I-CAR training or certification
- Advanced structural repair
- Electronic measuring systems
- Aluminum repair
- Commercial vehicle collision repair
- Heavy truck or bus body repair
- Fleet vehicle repair
- OEM collision repair training and certifications

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding, hands-on trade position. Candidates must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of collision and structural repair throughout the workday.

The successful candidate must be able to:

- Regularly lift and carry parts, tools and materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Assist with positioning heavier panels and vehicle components using appropriate lifting equipment or team lifting procedures
- Stand and walk on concrete shop floors for extended periods
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, squat, reach and work in confined positions
- Work at floor level and in kneeling or crouched positions while completing lower body and structural repairs
- Reach overhead and work with arms extended while removing, installing and repairing components
- Push, pull and position vehicle components, panels, frame equipment and collision repair tools
- Safely operate grinders, sanders, drills, welders, pulling equipment and other hand and power tools
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements associated with metalwork, welding, grinding and body repair
- Maintain the hand strength, dexterity and coordination required for precision body and structural work
- Climb in, out of and around commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and other vehicles as required
- Work around vehicles in various stages of disassembly and repair
- Work in an environment that may include noise, dust, fumes, vibration, heat and changing temperatures




- Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety footwear, eye and hearing protection, gloves and respiratory protection when required
- Maintain the physical stamina necessary to safely perform collision repair duties throughout a full shift

Compensation Up to $75,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience, technical ability and qualifications.
