Prairie Inn Neighbourhood Pub is a staple of the Saanichton community. We are a bustling, high-volume neighbourhood pub known for excellent food, cold drinks. and a welcoming atmosphere. We take pride in serving high-quality pub classics and daily specials with speed and consistency.

We are looking for reliable, hard working Line Cooks to join our tight-knit kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love pub culture, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

- Line Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items to standard recipe specifications quickly and efficiently during high-volume service.

*Station Management: Set up, stock, and maintain your station with all the necessary supplies.

*Prep Work: Assist with daily food prep, portioning, and rotation to ensure peak freshness and minimize waste

*Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workplace. Follow all Foodsafe standards and provincial health standards

*Teamwork: Communicate clearly with front of house staff and fellow kitchen team members to ensure smooth ticket flow and timing

What We're Looking For

*Experience:



Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high Volume restaurant or busy pub environment

*Certification: Valid BC FoodSafe Level 1 certificate(Or willingness to get it before starting)

*Speed & Stamina: Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure during busy times. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40lbs.

*Availability: Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
