Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items efficiently and accurately
- Cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by ensuring timely meal preparation
- Handle food with care to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Follow all safety regulations related to food handling,
sanitation, and kitchen equipment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude towards collaboration
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and meal presentation is a plus
