Woodbridge Animal Hospital is looking for a reliable and compassionate Locum Veterinarian to join our team for alternating Saturday coverage.

This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian looking for a consistent, predictable locum schedule in a supportive small-animal practice.

The Opportunity:

- Schedule: Alternating Saturdays
- Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Caseload: Primarily small-animal general practice
- No overnight or on-call requirements

Our Saturday appointments are primarily wellness, preventative care, and routine medical appointments, with urgent cases assessed and managed as appropriate.

Woodbridge Animal Hospital is a well-established small-animal hospital serving the Woodbridge and surrounding Vaughan community. We provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and senior care.

Our hospital is supported by an experienced and dedicated veterinary team, including registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and client care staff. We value teamwork, communication, and providing a positive experience for both our patients and their families.

What You'll Do:

- Provide high-quality medical care to dogs and cats




- Perform physical examinations and wellness assessments
- Diagnose and manage routine medical conditions
- Develop and communicate appropriate treatment plans
- Perform preventative care, including vaccinations and parasite prevention
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Collaborate with the support team to ensure excellent patient care

What We're Looking For:

- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Fully licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario
- Previous small-animal general practice experience
- Strong communication and client-service skills
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative support team
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to high-quality patient care
