Vanguard Security Systems Inc. is a commercial security integrator serving Greater Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton, Halifax, and PEI. We install and support advanced camera, intrusion, fire, and flood detection systems for commercial clients, and we're growing fast.

We're looking for a General Labourer to support our security technicians on installation jobs. You'll be running and terminating low-voltage cable, helping mount equipment, and assisting with basic account/system setup during installs. This is a hands-on, on-the-job-training role, ideal for someone who wants to build a career in the security and low-voltage industry.

Responsibilities:

- Run and route low-voltage cabling (cat5e/6, coax, alarm wire) through walls, ceilings, and conduit
- Assist technicians with mounting cameras, panels, sensors, and other hardware
- Help with basic software/account setup for installed systems
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and protected
- Load, unload, and manage tools and materials on site
- Follow instructions from lead technicians and adapt to daily job requirements

Requirements:

- Experience with cabling/wire running required (security systems,



low-voltage, electrical, or similar trades experience preferred)
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts) and in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labour throughout the day
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Basic comfort with computers/mobile apps for account setup is an asset
