We have part-time positions available for energetic, responsible team players in our Extracurricular Childcare Program. Both Lunch Monitor and Afterschool Monitor shifts are available.
Part-time hours: approximately 10-20 per week

Basic Qualifications
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must have experience working with children/youth
- Must be available to work during the school calendar year (ending mid-June 2027)
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather
Conditions of Employment
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week (availability on Tuesdays, on Thursdays, and/or Monday afternoons is considered an asset)
- Confirmation of legal entitlement to work in Canada
Mandatory Background Screenings All childcare staff are required to have/acquire the background checks below. Existing search results are acceptable if issued within the prior 90 days.
- Nova Scotia Child Abuse Registry (CAR) check, or equivalent
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
