Pacific Industrial Solutions is looking for a qualified Machinist to join our fabricating team. The perfect candidate will be a great self-starter, detail oriented and flexible. This position is multi-faceted and will require a dedicated team player who is willing to assist in many aspects of the shop and fabricate items for a variety of industries.

Experience

- At least one year of machining experience

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be able to fabricate from drawings
- Be able to operate manual and CNC lathe, milling machine, band saws, radial arm drill, surface grinder
- Must maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Able to work full time (Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm)




- Willing to learn how to operate a variety of machines
- Can take direction and perform tasks unsupervised
- Must be able to work with others or excel in a team environment
- Perform quality inspection and documentation

Assets
- Die making experience

- Own your own tools

- Forklift Experience
- Experience with general shop tools

- First Aid certification

We offer on the job training and mentoring, a flexible health care allowance, Friday employee lunch and a great working environment. Starting Wage: $28-$31/ hour or more depending on experience.
