Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be capable of performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

- Robust mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Experience with CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks is desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
