Responsibilities

- Manage a team of professionals in R&T; program management.
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and training to enable employees to reach their goals.
- Delegate and organize resources to meet the company’s objectives in R&T.;
- Lead manpower planning activities and budget preparation.
- Support senior management and technical leaders to align on research strategies, priorities and decisions.
- Manage communication and visibility reports for the various levels of the organization on risk mitigation, execution, resource allocation and budget.
- Communicate effectively to favor open communication.
- Coordinate the efforts of Bombardier's support functions – Legal Services, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Communications – to carry out the team's mandates.
- Support the continuous improvement of the team's mandates.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- More than 15 years of relevant experience in aeronautics engineering, including at least 3 years as a team leader.




- Strong knowledge of R&T; management practices.
- Strong experience with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the aeronautics industry, and knowledge of early aircraft development phases.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and activities.
- Commitment to cohesive teamwork and knowledge sharing at all levels.
- Autonomous, results-driven, enthusiastic with strong work ethics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor the message to the audience.
- Ability to represent Bombardier with industry, academia, and partner organizations.
- Fluency in French and English.
