Drive change in clinical risk and adult guardianship as the Manager at Island Health. Lead a team to enhance patient and staff safety through creative strategies. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing clinical risk and adult guardianship programs for the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
Reporting directly to the Director, your skills in leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing strategies will be crucial. This full-time position allows you to work remotely anywhere on Vancouver Island. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement adult protection strategies
- Lead a geographically dispersed clinical risk team
- Draft and apply standard operating policies
- Establish effective working relationships across teams
- Manage workloads to ensure timely project completion
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum five years in risk management leadership
- Knowledge of the Adult Guardianship Act
- Demonstrated proficiency in systems thinking
- Ability to problem-solve in fast-paced environments
