We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. Responsibilities

As a Site Manager, your job duties include:

- Run operations of the site following Kar Holdings standards and policies as well Suncor standards
- Maintaining store image to company standards (Mystery Shop, Guest Survey, Site Review)
- Ensuring the site is accurately completing shift sheets, processing paperwork, replenishing ATM's
- Kar Financial Accounting System to be checked daily to verify purchases, ATM log, Cash over/short manner and monitor Gross Margin for the site. Necessary documents and information are uploaded on time and inquiries are resolved in a timely manner
- Kar Communication website is checked daily to ensure sales numbers are updated accurately, and making bank deposits in timely manners.
- Completing all aspects of the grading report for each site with 100% accuracy
- Hiring and training team members. Verify scheduling and ensure store business hours are followed and labour hours are within the budget.
- Providing monthly reviews to team members and ensuring online training is completed and up to date before they begin working
- Completion of monthly inventory counts, ensuring year-end inventory sheets are up to date and regularly maintained for mid-year counts and year-end inventory counts




- Responsible to ensure Cash over/short is minimal, no discrepancies in inventory counts including lottery/cigarettes/tobacco/novelty/vapes
- Responsible to ensure shrinkage is minimized, by reducing expiries, deterring & reporting theft
- Submission of verified timesheets to HR at the end of each pay period
- Managing store inventory by monitoring and approving orders either made by site or by vendors
- Ensure that store merchandising and pricing are up to date as per Kar Group standards
- Recording maintenance issues and escalating when necessary
- Implement Cleaning Schedule for Store and ensures standards are met

Experience
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience within retail sales or store management roles.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, training & development, and motivating staff toward achieving targets.
- Strong background in merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
- Skilled in negotiation with vendors and managing purchasing processes effectively.
- Experience with payroll processing, cash handling, POS systems, and bookkeeping is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse teams and customers in multiple languages if bilingual or multilingual skills are present.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and promotional activities that drive sales growth.
- Organizational skills necessary for administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and recordkeeping.
