The Role An Assistant Coach with NWP may perform the following:

- Assisting in practicing planning
- Assisting in game preparation
- Player development
- Video Analysis




- Participation in team meetings, practices, and activities
- Travel, if applicable

Requirements

Job Requirements The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years coaching at the post-secondary or high school level. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:

- The ability to motivate student athletes
- A strong understanding of sport-specific technique and skills
- High ethical standards
- robust organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- an entrepreneurial spirit, specifically one who is willing to take a risk to create opportunities;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and
- a high level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
- a current criminal record check.
