TNT – The New Trend is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on Merchandising & Operations Coordinator to join our retail team.

This is a key position within the store, focused on merchandising, inventory management, product organization, and day-to-day retail operations. The role works closely with our management, buying, sales, and operations teams to ensure merchandise is received, organized, presented, and maintained to the standards expected within a high-end fashion environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in organization and presentation, and enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure the sales floor and stockroom operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Product Presentation

- Support the merchandising and presentation of new and existing product throughout the store
- Ensure merchandise is displayed in a clean, organized, and visually compelling manner
- Maintain product presentation and merchandising standards throughout the day
- Assist with merchandising new deliveries, seasonal launches, promotions, and floor changes
- Replenish merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve product organization and presentation
- Ensure merchandise is properly steamed, folded, hung, sized, and prepared for the sales floor
- Work closely with management to execute the store's overall merchandising direction

Inventory & Stock Management

- Receive, unpack, process, and organize incoming merchandise
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, labelled, and prepared for the sales floor
- Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and efficient stockroom
- Organize inventory by category, designer, size,



and other established systems
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation
- Monitor inventory accuracy and communicate discrepancies to management
- Process incoming and outgoing inventory transfers between store locations
- Assist with locating merchandise for the sales and Personal Shopping teams
- Ensure product moves accurately between the stockroom, sales floor, transfers, holds, and other areas of the business

Store Operations

- Support the day-to-day operational needs of the store
- Assist with receiving and coordinating deliveries, transfers, and shipments
- Prepare merchandise for transfers, returns to vendors, and other outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to inventory movement
- Support opening, closing, and general store procedures where required
- Assist with operational projects, seasonal changes, and special events
- Help ensure back-of-house and sales-floor areas remain organized and operational
- Identify inventory or operational issues and proactively work with management to resolve them

Sales Team & Personal Shopper Support

- Assist the sales team in locating merchandise quickly and efficiently
- Prepare merchandise for client appointments and Personal Shopping requests
- Support product pulls, holds, transfers, and special requests
- Return merchandise to the appropriate location following client appointments
- Ensure merchandise is properly presented and ready for the next client




- Help maintain an efficient flow of product between the sales floor and stockroom

- Someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized and well-run environment

Previous experience in luxury retail, fashion retail, merchandising, inventory management, stock operations, warehousing, or another product-focused environment is strongly preferred.

What Success Looks Like

This role goes beyond a traditional stock position.

The Merchandising & Operations Coordinator plays an important role in how product moves through the store—from the moment merchandise arrives to the moment it reaches the sales floor and ultimately the client.

You will be successful in this position if inventory is accurate and easy to locate, the stockroom is exceptionally organized, new merchandise reaches the floor quickly, product is presented to a high standard, and the sales team can rely on you to keep the operational side of the store running smoothly.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
