"Hello" from Sabayons!

We are an independent store in downtown Victoria, which for us, means endless possibilities to be creative, analytical, and innovative. There's a lot to take in at the store, so everyone starts on till to give you an opportunity to learn all of our unconventional ways, to be asked all of the (only initially) unpredictable questions, and to be exposed to the varied assortment of tasks.

There's always something to do, and no job here involves being chained to a single spot. You will have some direction, but ideally you are a self starter and someone that, with time, can learn to identify routines and what needs to be done.

We aim to provide a workplace that's kind, fair, and a good long term fit. Major perks are 30% off all store merchandise, $1 in store credit for every hour worked, a weekly schedule with 2 days off in a row if you are working full time (unless you specifically don't want that), and access to a "staff fridge" full of free food.

Ideal candidates will have in depth knowledge and keen interests in food,



ingredients and artisan products; Be both analytical/systematic and simultaneously visually creative; Like to identify and spearhead projects without in depth supervision; Not be afraid to get dirty and to tackle whatever comes our way (we really do everything ourselves - almost everything). Lots of prospect to have to become a full time role once we know your skills and talents better!

Specifics for positions open right now:

1. Night-time Merchandiser - Full Time $21/hr to start, $24/hr after confirmed good fit and full time hours

* working hours are 8 pm - 4 am and ideally Thursday- Saturday
- must be able to work independently
- must be able to problem solve and prioritize effectively
- must be physically fit to complete repetitive tasks like moving boxes up and down a ladder
- must be able to identify and communicate any problems encountered during their shift
- some computer proficiency preferred

1. Cashier / Closing Staff - Full time/$21 per hour @ Sabayons, downtown Victoria

* working hours, 12:30p - 10:30p during peak tourist season
- general cashier and customer service for a high-end, whimsical boutique department store
- must be able to complete closing cleaning tasks that involve lifting, sweeping, mopping, pushing
