: MSU provides an intermediate level of care requiring basic cardiac monitoring skills with integrated medical surgical nursing knowledge to support medical patients with higher acuity care needs.

Experience
- Experience in critical care
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Adult ECG interpretation from an accredited course is required.
Other Education and Training
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Other specialty certificates related to the clinical program area as required
Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrated initiative, self-direction, organizational & leadership abilities
- Ability to facilitate teamwork is essential
- Demonstrates leadership abilities
- Knowledge in adult education
- Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice

- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
